HELP! I downloaded the BETA version of Office 2007, including Outlook. I
have to say I don't especially like it. I find everything unwieldy, but
that's my personal opinion, and decided to uninstall. However, I now find I
cannot re-install Outlook 2003 from my Office CD.

Anyone know what's happening here? I've tried several times to re-install,
and have even selected the detect and repair option, but to no avail.

You haven't described any symptoms. How can anyone guess?

Would you provide the details of the error messages you recv when installing
Office/Outlook 2003??

Thanks,

Hi

When trying to start up Outlook 2003 (having re-installed it several times)
I get the following error message:

"Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. MAPI32.DLL is corrupt or the wrong
version. This could have been caused by installing other messaging software.
Please reinstall Outlook"

However, if I try to reinstall it I get the above message again.

Y I K E S !!!!!!

SORTED FOLKS. I simply used my Office CD to uninstall Outlook 2003 and then
reinstalled it.

Hope this will help everyone else with the same problem.

Same soloution, bit of a pain as 2003 CD was an upgrade so had to find the
200 disk as well!

However after unistalling 2007 and 2003 and reinstalling 2003 everything
working again, but a bit of a pain.
