Outlook (2004) Google quick search has started failing

When I search for a term in my Outlook using Google quick search, the
result is "search failed" or "0 emails" it looks like i needed to re-
index, which I have attempted to do, but the email and file counts
during reindexing are stuck at 0. No files are being indexed I
guess. This problem is recent, it may have started when I changed to
a newer computer, but I am not so sure, I think it was working at
first. Anyone got any ideas?

Well, since it's Google's search that is failing, maybe asking in a Google
support forum would be a good step. I mean, how is it with searching for
file names? Is it failing there too?
