I just installed Outlook 2003 and am having a few
issues.

1. When I go to send a new mail and click the "to" to
get to my contacts, it defaults to look in the accoutns
list. How do I change where it defaults looking for
contacts?

2. How can I make it so when I start typing an e-mail
address from my address book that it fills in the rest
for me automatically?

Go to Tools | E-mail Accounts, click View or change existing directories or
address books, click Next, select Outlook Address Book in the list, click
Change, and remove any Contacts folders you don't want to appear. If any
Contacts folders you want to search for addresses aren't listed, you'll need
to enable those Contacts folders as Outlook Address Books by right clicking
the folder, selecting Properties, clicking the Outlook Address Book tab, and
checking the "Show this folder as an E-mail address book" box. Make sure
you restart Outlook after making these changes.

Outlook's AutoComplete feature doesn't work against your contact list at
all; it saves addresses you've previously typed in yourself. To resolve an
address against your Contacts, press CTRL+K.
