Is it possible to use word 2002 to edit email messages.
I only get the option to use word 2003 as an editor.

Before upgrading to Outlook 2003 it would display
incorrect spelling etc as word does.

Tracy, if you are talking about the auto correct, where it underlines the
misspelled words as you type them in, this feature exist in Outlook 2003.
Maybe it's not activated on your system.

Go to menu:Tools -> Options to get the options window.
Pick "Mail Format" tab
Check "Use Microsoft Office Word 2003 to edit e-mail messages"

and see if that returns this feature for you.

Outlook 2003 cannot use Word 2002 as its e-mail editor, or for spell check,
or to do a mail merge, etc. The versions of the two progams must match for
those functions to work.

Incorrect advice. She said she wants to use Word 2002 as the editor for
Outlook 2003. Word 2003 is required to use Word as the editor.
