Following recent downloaded updates the follow error is occuring:

While trying to follow any link in any email (such as komando.com or
amazon.com)
I get this annoying error message:

"This operation canceled due to restrictions in effect on this computer.
Please contact the system administrator"

If you're using IE6 as your web browser, start IE and click Tools>Internet
Options>Programs>Reset Web Settings.

Because Microsoft moved it and modified its function. The closest
equivalent is Tools>Internet Options>Advanced>Reset and I wouldn't suggest
using that. It's much more intrusive that the IE6 reset. I don't know of
any suggestion for IE7. That's why I specifically said "IE6" in my post.

I was having the same problem and you start with IE click Tools>Internet
Options>Programs and click MAKE DEFAULT this worked for me
