I
info
I have a network of 12 computers we use at work. Everything has been
cruising along just fine, until today. Starting this morning, the
users started getting errors with Outlook.
when they first start Outlook and try to create a new email they get
this error.
-----------------------
Microsoft Word is set to be your e-mail editor. However, Word is
unavailable, not installed, or is not the same version as Outlook. The
Outlook e-mail editor will be used instead.
-----------------------
Once they click past this, a few of them get this error.
-----------------------
One or more ActiveX controls could not be displayed becaue either:
1) Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on
this page, or
2) You have blocked a publisher of one of the controls.
As a result, the page may not display correctly.
-----------------------
Everyone is running XPSP2 with Office Professional 2003. All of these
computers have been running just fine for months if not years.
I have already tried re-registering OLE32.dll with no luck, also tried
deleting the normal.dot, with no luck.
To my knowledge no updates were installed yesterday.
Now for the interesting thing. We are in the process of moving to a
new AD Domain. Only the computers still on the old domain are having
the issue. Everyone is accessing the Exchange Server on the new DC.
Any help would be appreciated.
