outlook 2003/word 2002

Recently I installed the outlook 2003 software, and shortly after that I
installed the office works suite 2004, with the word 2002 software.

For some reason my outlook is not recognizing my word software. When I
opened word and tried to bring up email, I recieved a pop up stating that the
problem could be a internet connection, or the outlook install itself.

How would I check to see which one it was, and than hopefully, correct the
problem

HI,
Outlook 2003 is not compatible with word 2002!
You have to install word 2003 to use it as email editor in outlook!
