Outlook 2003 won't store Drafts

I imported from MSOE all my folders etc with the intent of completely switching to Outlook 2003. I'm running into constant glitches and the latest is Outlook isn't storing my drafts in my Drafts folder. I don't know where they go, I hit save and nothing happens. I need help getting this fixed and haven't found the answer on my own.

Please, help me!.

Does it work after you start Outlook with the resetfolders switch?
Start-> Run; outlook.exe /resetfolders

If not, provide some more details to work with like exact version of Outlook
reported in Help-> About, which mail account type you are using and whether
you have Word or Outlook set as the email editor.

did not work.

I'm using:
Windows XP SP3
office outlook 2003 (11.8169.8202) SP3 part of MS office basic edition 2003
I'm a Lotus user and have never used Outlook before. So I'm not positive that I am not using Word. However, based on the fact that any new emails I write are written in what looks like an Outlook email screen, and I believe I chose to not use Word, therefore, I think Outlook is the email editor. I'd need instruction on how to find the answer if this is not good enough.

I've typed a couple of test drafts and hit Save. The number of items in my Drafts folder now increases by 1 each time, however, the drafts aren't there. That the number increases is an improvement!

Thanks for the help! Maybe we are close to finding the lost drafts?

I found them in the drafts folder. So the reset must have worked. Thank you so much for the help, Robert.
