Hi,

I have a problem with Outlook 2003. The program won't print HTML mails in
color, only greyscale. I have checked all the print/color/and so on settings.
All of them are correct.

The odd thing is, when I reply or forward (or any form of editing) the mail
and I print the mail when I edit it, it prints in color.

I have tried multiple printers, HP 7580, PDF-printer, all print in
greyscale. When I print the same e-mail with Outlook 2007, it prints in color.

Any help is much appreciated.

OS: MS Windows XP Pro SP3
Outlook: MS Outlook 2003 SB SP3
Both fully updated

P.S. I noticed that someone on a Dutch forum had the same problem, but no
one had a solution. Here's the link:

Are you using Word as the editor? Printing a message you are composing uses
Word's print engine which would explain why color works sometimes.

Do you have greyscale enabled in page setup in outlook?

Yes, Word is the default editor.

You mean File -> Page Properties -> Style for Memo or Style for Table? No,
greyscale is not enabled in Outlook. Excuse me for mistranslations. It's a
dutch Outlook.

My problem is solved. What I did:

The e-mails were in HTML. De cells that are colored didn't print.

In IE: Go to Extra, Options, Advanced, Printing, Print background color and
pictures (Or something like that).

That solved my problem.
