Hi,

I have posted here before without a response and would
appreciate one this time.

Very often, when I close Outlook 03, the program closes
down to the system tray icon and when you click that a
little *pop* noise is made and the only way to actually
close Outlook is ctrl alt del. This is VERY anoying to
have to do all the time; Outlook uses 26mb memory and I
would rather have it closed when its not needed.

Please report this as a bug, or tell me what I can do.

Thanks,
Drew

Do you have any add-ins for Outlook loaded?
Do you have Word open when this happens?
Do you have a PDA that syncs with Outlook?

I have a pocketpc that syncs and neither of the other
two. I was guessing it was the pda but i still don't
understand why that happens.

Try taking the PDA out of the cradle when you close Outlook. ActiveSync
opens a hidden connection to Outlook when the PDA is in the cradle.
