Outlook Outlook 2003 will not open

"Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Unable to open the Outlook window.
The set of folders could not be opened. The server is not available. Contact
your administrator if this condition persists."

This error report came out of the blue and I cannot get outlook 2003 to open for over a week as of 9/4/07

Can you try doing a "detect and repair" operation, it available in the add/remove programs in the control panel.

It might be worth seeing if safe mode works if the above fail, run "Outlook.exe /safe" from the start menu.
