I have questions for Outlook 2003 developers:
1. Why doesn't the Mail View display Public Folders?
2. Why can't I have Folder List displayed all the time like in Outlook
2002?
3. If you're going to force me to use Folder View to see my Public
Folders, why can't I have Favorites at the top of the Folder View like
in Mail View?
4. If I select Folder List and then select a folder, I see the list of
messages in that folder on the right window. If I then select Mail
View | Inbox, I now see the Inbox on the right window. So far, so
good. But now if I click Folder List again, the Inbox still stays in
the right window. Why doesn't it redisplay the list of messages from
the folder that I was previously viewing?
5. Why can't I make Inbox a Button along with Mail, Tasks, Calendar,
etc. like I used to be able to do in Outlook 2002?
6. If I display Folder List, then select Calendar View, I get
calendars for each month on the left pane. However, if I then switch
back to Folder List, the upper portion of the left pane still displays
calendars. No other view does this, why the inconsistency?
Thank you.
