Outlook 2003: Viewing Email and Calendar @ the Same Time

I want to be able to view my email and the calendar at the same time
in Outlook 2003. Why can't I do this (or can I)?

While viewing your Inbox, right-click the Calendar folder in the Navigation
Pane (you must be using the Folder List view to see it) and choose Open in
New Window.
 
I want to view both in the same window.

Then upgrade to 2007.

The option is only available in Office 2007.
