I wasn't aware that those two worked together. BCM 2003 worked with
SBA 1.0, and BCM 2007 was backwards compatible with SBA 1.0. But I
thought MOA 2008 only worked with BCM 2007.

Who's displaying the message, BCM or MOA?

Hi Luther,

It is MOA displaying the message. The 2 must be compatible as I run the same
system from the same discs and downloads on my laptop and they intergrate
just perfect. It just seems that although my laptop shows 1 thing the desktop
shows and reacts in a totaly different way!

There's something strange going on. MOA should not integrate with BCM
2003 databases, only 2007 databases. They even used different Sql
instances, so MOA should never "see" a BCM 2003 database to integrate
with.

If you're familiar with Sql, check to see how many BCM and MOA
databases you have on the two machines. And with the BCM databases,
check the version number in the table named orgtable.

Hi Luther,

I know nothing about sql, I am basicaly a novice trying to find my way
around. Intrestingly I had a computer system crash yesterday and I had to re
load all my XP software. I also re downloaded the MOA2008 software. I then
when to outlook 2003 with business contact manager and was fully able to link
the 2 programs!

So it seems the problem is solved for me. I dont know why they link if they
are mot meant to! Like I said I dont know much about computers but if this
topic intrests you let me know what information you want and how I get it and
I will be only to happy to assist by way of a thank you for your input.

Thanks again

It appears that MOA 2008 is backwards compatible to SBA 1.0, whose
accounting APIs BCM 2003/v2 was built with.

Dear LIA International:

I did that in the BETA Version. It can be time consuming. However, if you
have purcased Accounting 2008 within the last 3 month, you have a free
support. They should help you to set that up. It will not work with
Accounting 2008 Express.
