Outlook 2003 suddenly quit sending/receiving emails

Suddenly my Outlook quit sending & receiving emails. No changes were made to
the computer system. I've downloaded all updates, run all spyware/adware &
antivirus programs. I've even reintalled/repaired the file but it will not
send/receive. I've contacted my ISP and things are working smoothly on their
end.

I had a simiilar situation.
I have a wi-fi routerand it required a reboot and a reset the router (if
you have one) if not turn of your anti virus and spyware, reboot and re
introduce one tool at a time, anti virus will cause this problem also.

Thanks for that helpful suggestion. It appears that Norton Internet Security
is the guilty party. How can I protect my computer and still send/receive
messages? Or is this one for Symantec?
