Something weird happened today with my standard tool bar field for pulling up contacts. I would type say Bob into the field and it would pull up all contacts with Bob in first name &/orlast name. As of today, it only pulls up Bob in the first &/or last name if an email address is in the contact and the window is different too. I know there is simple fix, but I'm going bonkers trying to find it....Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
Tom

This just happened all by itself for no reason?
Something must have changed in your Outlook Profile.
Remove and re-add the Outlook Address Book Service to your Profile to reset
it. Then make sure it is configured to display the correct Contacts Folder.
Instructions on how to do that here:

Thanks for your time, Russ. I tried your suggestion, but it did not solve the problem. Can I email you a screen shot showing you what I mean? I can't copy/paste them in this forum. Look forward to your response

Sure.
Are you certain you are typing into the "Find a Contact" field in a Folder
view? It sounds to me like you might be typing into the To: field in a new
message window.

Yes, I'm certain I'm typing into the "Find a Contact" field while in the folder view and getting the 'check name' result, opposed to the 'choose contact' result. I will email you as discussed

Thank you again for your help Russ
