Thanks for the reply. The error says "Task 'AccountName-Sending' reporting
error (0x800CCC0D) 'Unable to find the e-mail server. Please verify the
server information in your account properties."
I am using ZoneAlarm, but I re-authenticated the new outlook.exe with
ZoneAlarm. I also tried shutting ZoneAlarm down. Same problem.
You ask, "Does it work when you set your SMTP server settings to
authenticate?" I assume this means that I press the "Test Settings" button
in the e-mail account setup? In any event, the "Test Settings" button gives
the same error message. (I appologize if I do not understand your reference
to "authenticate.")
Thanks again.

What is the exact error you get?
Does it work when you set your SMTP server settings to authenticate?
Some firewalls need to re-allow Outlook to connect to the outside world
since after the update the outlook.exe has been modified.

The title says it all. Everything was working fine with sending e-mails
until I applied the Office SP1 upgrade. Now I cannot connect to the SMTP
server. I checked the account settings (same POP/SMTP server names, same
ports, etc.). The upgrade did not appear to change them in any way.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
