Outlook 2003 signatures not working

[strad37]

When the "Signature for new messages" is set to a signature it will
not stay set. It reverts back to none. It usually takes a day or so
for it to revert back to none. Any ideas?

Any luck with this? have this happening at one of my clients too. can find
others asking the same question on various sites but no answers!! One of
those little things that isnt a show stopper but really annoys the end user.
Someone help us?

are the signatures stored on the local machine? If they are on a network
drive, it will revert to none if the location is not available.

when requesting assistance **

others asking the same question on various sites but no answers!! One of
those little things that isnt a show stopper but really annoys the end
user.

Hi Diane, thanks for the response. That was a good idea, but i have checked
the location for an affected user and the sig is sitting in c:\documents and
settings\username\application data\microsoft\signatures\signaturename.html
(which i assume is the default location) Having said that this user has a
laptop and has a roaming profile. Could this setting possibly be reset from
him trying to open outlook when exchange server is unavailable?

Does the user have outlook set to cached mode? I don't think roaming profile
with do it, since the profile is cached locally, but it could be a
combination of the roaming profile and exchange unavailable.

We are having this same issue all of a sudden. We have users load balanced
between 3 Citrix presentation servers and have just now started having this
issue when users move between 2 of the servers from day to day. Any idea yet
as to what is causing this?
