Outlook 2003 - Retain Mail on Server

J

John

I have two laptops.

Laptop #1 has W2K & Office XP. It is a member of my
company's domain.

Laptop #2 has XP TabletPC & Office 2003. It is not a
member of my compnay's domain.

On laptop #1, when mail is delivered to my laptop, it
remains on my laptop until I take direct action to remove
it from the server.

On laptop #2, when mail is delivered to my laptop, it is
removed from the server. I have searched the E-Mail setup
options to no avail to locate the setting that retains my
mail on the server as with laptop #1.

Both laptop #1 and laptop #2 access the same Exchange 2K
server.

Where is the option on Office 2003 to retain my mail on
the server until I explicitly remove the mail?

Thank you.

It sounds like you are using a .pst file on laptop 2. Try using the
Exchange mailbox for delivery instead.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the SWEN virus, all mail sent to my personal account will be deleted
without reading.
