Hello My Outlook do not allow me to start html links in the email nor
updates, etc saying always " THIS OPERATION HAS BEEN CANCELED DUE TO
RESTRICTIONS IN EFFECT ON THIS COMPUTER. PLEASE CONTACT YOUR SYSTEM
ADMINISTRATOR."

All the other aplication works normaly and I have admin permissions.

So anyone knows what to do?

Regards

Start / Settings / Control Panel / Administrative Tools / Local Security Policy
/ Software Restriction Policies

Under the Additional Rules section you will need to play around in there adding
the appropriate settings.

Hello

Thanks for your input. Nevertheless the additional rules section have 4
rules and all are unresctricted. The security level is also in unrestricted.
I could not find anything related with this particulary issue in outlook.

Any suggestions?

BRegards
Jorge

This message usually can be cleared by resetting Internet Explorer. In IE6,
Tools>Internet Options>Programs>Reset Web Settings. In IE7, Tools>Internet
Options>Advanced>Reset

I'm using Windows Vista Home Premium & Outlook 2003. When I click weblinks in
outlook message, I'm getting this error. can you suggest a solution

In IE, click Tools>Internet Options>Advanced>Reset and see if that helps.

Thanks Brian. Unfortunately I have tried that too. It's not working. FYI, I'm
using IE 7.
