I needed to reload my PC - so I exported my Outlook 2003
(2003 beta) Files to a .PST file - np appearent erreros -
- just reloaded Office 2003 (beta)and attempted to
IMPORT the PST file back in and got an error messaging to
the affect that incorrect version of outlook or PST file -
can not remember - have not paniced yet, but hoping I
just had a brain fart and neglected to reinstall
something - any help?

Maybe a dumb question, but why the export and import routine? Why not just use the same PST file that you were using before?

Post the exact error message if you see it again.

Problem was there was a 'Techniocal Refresh' for Office 2003 (and the 'scan
office updates did not catch it - found by doing some other searcheds - -
end to story - after loading it - pst file loaded just fine

(seems their 'Office Update') needs a bit of refinement

Did you ever locate the technical refresh? I have had the
same problem for a week and I cannot locate it.
