When I push the "To" Button to get a contact from my contacts in Outlook it
shows no names, even though there are plenty of names in my contacts list. I
am running Outllok 2003 with a Microsoft Exchange Server.
How do I make sure the program is looking for the "right" contacts list?

Do you have the Outlook Address Book service loaded? Tools->Email
Accounts-Directories->Change. Is the OAB service there? If not, back up
one step and add it.

If it is there, go to your contacts folder and right click,
properties->Outlook Address Book tab. Is it marked as an Address Book? If
not, then check the box.

Note- if you have several Address Book Services added in the first dialog,
remove them all and then add yours again.

Sounds like the contact list is not set to be the source
for your address book. using the folder list on the left
sode of the screen, right click on Contacts, then choose
prorerties. There will be a tab in the screen that pops
up labeled "address Book". check the box that says "show
this folder as the email address book". Close then reopen
outlook and it should be there.
