Outlook 2003 Problems #4: "outlook classic" option

The best thing about Windows XP was that you could choose
to view the OS in "classic" mode. I'm not necessarily
saying that classic was better, but the option is key.
For Office apps, this option of "GUI rollback" is
essential. I spent a whole day trying to figure out where
everything was moved to and get familiar with it. It's
not that there are any particular NEW options or
functionality -- just a big GUI overhaul. I don't mind a
new design, but for the sake of wasted time, give me an
option to rollback to "classic"!

Is this an option now or will it be one in the future?
I'm considering dumping Outlook 2003 and going back to
2002.

I agree. Change can be good. But if I bought a new car
and expected the steering wheel to be in the same place
rather than in the trunk (it's more attractive there), I'd
have to admit that this new "feature" be an option rather
than a mandatory change for all users.

I'm sure I'll get used to driving with the trunk open so I
can see. It's just a poor choice to reduce usability like
that.

Thanks for your help!
