Anyone that's used Outlook XP will know what I'm talking about. Outlook
XP had the ability to check several POP3 accounts at the same time (in
parallel) which made everything much quicker.

Outlook 2003 doesn't seem to work this way. It checks one at a time, one
after the other. Is there a setting or Registry value that can change
this to run in parallel? I just hope this feature wasn't removed.

Yes, Outlook XP seems to download message simultaneously while Outlook 2003 does this in sequential
order. There is no reg hack or modification to change this functionality. Is this functionality hindering daily
use?

Somewhat. I have 6 accounts and each takes about 5 seconds to check
(high latency between Australia and USA). Usually I would wait ~5
seconds for them all to be checked, now I have to wait ~30 seconds.

If there is no way to enable parallel checking, no point complaining
here I guess.
