Hi,

I am using Outlook 2003 and yesterday one of my kids
tried to send out a huge file attachment. Its about
5MB. It's just sitting in my outbox and it says in the
lower right hand corner that it's 50% done, but then it
seems to time out and starts all over again. I can't
delete because it says that Outlook has already started
the transmission. Is there any way that I can delete or
get rid of this email.

Please Help!!!
Sarah

This works for me. Click File>Work Offline. Stop and restart Outlook.
Delete the message from Outbox. Click File and uncheck Work Offline.

If that doesn't work, then use File>New>Outlook Data File, create a new PST.
Then click Tools>E-mail Accounts>View or change existing e-mail
accounts>Next. In the "Deliver new e-mail to the following location"
drop-down, find your new PST and click Finish. Stop and restart Outlook.
You'll then be able to delete the message from the old Outlook. Use
Tools>E-mail Accounts to switch your delivery location back to your original
location and use File>Data File Management to remove the extra PST you
added. Stop and restart Outlook and delete the extra PST with Windows
Explorer.
