Outlook 2003 - New Navigation Pane Button

I need help creating a button in the navigation pane of Outlook 2003
(where the large Inbox, Calendar, Notes etc.. are located) , preferably
an Add-in. I want to be able to click the button and open Outlooks
explorer.
 
Outlook does not support custom navigation pane buttons.
