OUTLOOK 2003 Misbehaving :(

Lately Outlook 2003 on my laptop has been really misbehaving, doing things
like ignoring my mail settings, safe sender's list...and even checking mail
on start up...when I have UN ticked the option for this..( I don't want it
to check for new mail every time I open the program).

The most annoying thing is, it keeps putting mail into the "JUNK" folder,
even when they are added to my SAFE SENDERS list, and I tick the option uner
JUNK MAIL saying "Always trust mail from this sender" etc...

So basically...it seems to be ignoring me !

Can anybody shed some light on this ???

Are you using an antivirus or antispam scanner? If they are enabled, they
won't use outlook's settings.
