I have been using Outlook 2003 for a week now and I find that the Spam
filter is weak to say the least. I get about 30 spam's a day and I am
lucky it catches 20. All I find myself doing is adding the sender to
the Blocked List which is useless in most cases because the spammer
will use another address the next time.
I previously used Outlook Express with SpamCatcher from Mailshell and
it did a super job catching 99% of the Junk.
I certainly hope Microsoft addresses this shortcoming and issues an
update with a spam filter product that learns from the Blocked and
Safe senders list. Knowing Microsoft they will probably wait for
Outlook 2004 and tout an improved spam filter as their selling point.
