Outlook 2003 is preparing the requested view

Outlook 2003 is preparing the requested view is coming up for users and
causing outlook to slow down. Any way of removing this problem?

You are not alone. We're also now seeing the same exact problem. Many
other people too. Try Googling: Outlook is preparing the requested view

Seems to be related to last weeks October 2009 Microsoft Security Updates
and patches, such as KB973705. Outlook versions 2003 & 2007 both impacted.
As of yet no response or fix from MS.

If anybody has any updated info on this topic, please let us know, it's a
problem.

Is there a temp fix to this issue short of removing the patch and messing
outlook up for good? Problem seems to be with outlook users who have large
amounts of email - these are the ones i'm hearing from.
