Hi,

when i read my mails with the new outlook 2003 from the
exchange server of our company, all mails from the inbox
folder are deleted from the server. I worked with Office
XP before using Office 2003.

Has anyone some hints/workarounds for me how to solve the
problem?

Thanks in advance,
Walter

What service did you configure? If you configured the Exchange service the
messages are kept on the server unles you configured the default mail
delivery folder to be a pst-file. Go to Tools-> E-mail Accounts-> button
Next to verify that your default delivery folder is still the Exchange
server.

Also check your view. It's a little difficult to discern from you post, but
if you mean that once you read them they disappear from the view, you might
only be set to look at unread messages rather than all messages. Go to View,
Arrange By, Current View and make sure you're not set to Unread mesages.

Hi,

exactly i have configured 2 mail accounts:
one POP/SMTP account and one Exchange account (with
Exchange-cache-mode).

The default delivery folder is "personal folders" (as i
mean: i have a german version of outlook), the second
selectable entry is "Mailbox - Leinert, Walter". For it
is not clear why the messages are deleted from the
server. I can't find such an option selected by me.

Isn't it possible to use this 2 different mail accounts
together?

Regards, Walter

Yes, this is possible. If the POP3 mail goes to your Exchange account you
should create a rule on your Exchange mailbox that moves the messages
received from a specific account to the personal folders when it arrives.
