I have Outlook 2003 and some of my contacts are being filed as
urn:content-classes:person. This is causing problems with my categories. Is
ther a fix for this?

Could you provide enough detail that your post will make sense to the rest
of us?

I am using Outlook version 2003. In my Outlook contacts, the "file as"
field reads urn:content-classes:person instead of the contact's name in
first, last or last, first format. Has anyone ever encountered this before?
If so, is there a fix?
I hope this explanation little better...

I've sure never seen it. Things we would need to know to troubleshoot:
1. Information store
2. How you have configured your Outlook Address Book Service
3. What you specified as your and File As field format
3. How you are creating Contacts and whether this happens to all or only
some of your new Contacts
4. How your existing Contacts display
5. Whether you are using custom forms or any Outlook add-ins.
