I have 2 seperate questions which I need help on:
Note, client is Outlook 2003 and email accounts are a
POP3 account and an Exchange Server account. I have
little experience in using Exchange based email, so all
help is appreciated.
1. In a past configuration when I had a seperate POP3 and
IMAP accounts I could have two "seperate" Inboxes for
those accounts. Now with Exchange it seems I have to
configure a single Inbox for the two mail accounts to
deliver messages to. Further complicating it is, it seems
to replicate messages from the POP3 account back up to
the exchange server. How can I keep the POP3 account
seperated?
2. The Exchange account referenced above was added
second. I previously had a .PST file operating just the
way I wanted it for Calendar, Notes, Tasks, Contacts, and
Inbox for the POP3 account. Now, it seems ActiveSync
wants to only sync with the Calendar, Notes, Tasks,
Contacts, on the Exchange server -- which is not where I
want those items to reside (I would prefer to keep them
local, not on the network). How can I point ActiveSync to
use a particular Calendar/Notes/Contacts/Tasks folder??
Thanks in advance,
Marty
