Howdy folks,
I'm experiencing the same problem as Danny-- I've done a pretty exhaustive
search but no luck thus far...
I do have the registry keys listed in Diane's reply. I don't receive a
reply when I attempt to ping the exchange server. However, I am able to
connect to the same address using outlook & IMAP, so information is getting
through somehow. (Yes, I'm sure it's an exchange server. I believe the mail
server is running 2003) I've also placed the name/ip in my hosts file.
Keep in mind I'm doing this "on the road" -- Mostly from wireless hotspots
in coffee shops, etc. I'm on extended assignment and won't be able to login
to the network for quite a while. Could this be a problem of blocked ports?
Any help is tremendously appreciated!

well
but now Outlook will not connect to the Exchange server. Reports error in
conf for RPC. OWA stills works fine. Also when I try to add Exchange
Server it reports that the server is not online, but it is. I have review
everything on MS site but have found nothing that deals with this issue.
