Running Outlook 2003 in cached exchange mode against an
Exchange 2003 server (over an IPSec VPN from home).
With the AntiSpyware running, there are servere problems
using Outlook. 5 out of 10 times when closing Outlook, a
series of error messages appears. First, "The parameter
is invalid. The operation could not be completed". The
only choice is to click OK. Next, a message appears
saying "The changes to your note will not be saved".
Clicking OK makes the error message pop up again, 3
times, and then Outlook finally will exit. However, the
next time starting Outlook, a message says "Your Outlook
data file was not closed properly and is being checked
for problems".
Well, I've deleted the profile, recreated it, deleted the
outcmd.dat, extend.dat and frmcache.dat files, and the
problem still occurs.
However, when AntiSpyware is not running, Outlook
functions normally again.
Any good ideas will be welcomed, with thanks,
