Outlook 2003 just installed but doesn't shut down. It
appears to close but remains in the toolbar and does not
respond when XP shuts down. Also cannot re-open Outlook
2003 without re-boot of PC. Can anybody help??

I am also experiencing a hang when exiting Outlook 2003,
as I see many many others are. This is NOT just a delay.
After exiting Outlook, it still is running.
When I click the Outlook icon in the notification area, I
get this message ..."Outlook is not responding. If you are
using an Exhange Server email account, you can cancel
pending server requests by clicking the Outlook icon in
the notifications area, and then clicking Cancel Server
request on the shortcut menu."
I do know how to STOP it without rebooting, also must do
this to restart Outlook again...Under Windows Task
Manager / Processes, Outlook.exe and winword.exe are still
running...kill them.
