outlook 2003 doesn't like office 97 pro.

wondering what is the problem there because I have to install outlook 2003
first before i could install office 97 pro.
1 case where office 97 pro exist on a computer and then tried to install
outlook 2003. the installation went fine but for some reason, the application
is not there to be clickable at the desktop. there are no errors during the
installation.
Any idea?
