When utilizing the registry entry to control Transport order on an Outlook 2003 client in a 2003 SBS domain; (i.e. [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\smallbusinessserver\clientsetup]"NoTransportOrder"=dword:00000001 )
it works properly when sending new messages and replying to messages that were originally sent to that specific account. However, when forwarding a message that arrived via the local Exchange server, it DOES NOT follow the transport order as configured in Outlook. This has been confirmed on three different 2003 SBS domains.
The current workaround is a bit "convoluted". I add a column to the view that shows what account the message was received from and give users specific instructions to have them manually change the outgoing account selection at the time of forwarding.
Does anyone know of a mechanism, registry entry, or programmatic method to force the default account to be used under all circumstances?
