Hello,
We have the following situation. We purchased a lot of 12 new HP PCs a while
ago with Office 2003. The PCs they replaced were using Office 2000 and OL2000
without any problems regarding stored passwords or the Cyrus IMAP server
we're using.
On these new machines, with fresh installs, no previously imported profiles,
mail or mess, the pop-up box for entering network password keeps coming up.
I've tried the fixes suggested throughout this board from both the MS KB and
diverse websites, but they are all for POP3 and we use IMAP instead. Please
note this is a Linux based Cyrus server.
Optimistically I've tried them anyway but it does not work.
Our users report they sometimes don't have for a week, then 20 times a day,
then not, etc. At least it's driving them crazy...! Older PCs still running
OL2000 or OL Express have no problems at all, for us it's only 2003 related.
Any suggestions?
