Have u checked to see if it has installed a link in the Quick Launch toolbar
??? If so, you can right click on the icon in the toolbar and drag it to the
desk top !
If not, then u can easily create your own desktop short cut to Outlook.
Here's how:
Click on the [START] button
[All Programs]
[Microsoft Office]
RIGHT CLICK on [Microsoft Office Outlook 2003]
select [CREATE SHORTCUT]
the window will close
Follow the same steps except this time when right clicking on [Microsoft
Office Outlook 2003] select [CUT]
Return to your desktop and on an empty space right click and select
[PASTE]
As an alternative : [RIGHT CLICK] on an empty space on the desktop and
select [NEW] from the menu
Select [SHORTCUT], then use the browse button to select the [OUTLOOK.EXE ]
file which is usually located in the C:/ Programs directory at "C:\Program
Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\OUTLOOK.EXE" .... unless you've chosen to
install somewhere else.
Click [NEXT] then [FINISH]
That should do the trick ;-)
Hope this helps.
