Hi!
I am using Outlook 2003. I have also subscribed to a faxing via email
service that uses Word 2003 and Outlook. It's a service offered by a
company called Venali that has some partnering deal with Microsoft.
I've been having some problems with that fax service and so I called
them to troubleshoot. Their tech support asked me about the build
numbers in the "About Microsoft Office Outlook" page. They are:
"11.5608.5703". When I told the tech support the numbers, he told me
that the problem that I am having is related to my using a "beta"
version of Outlook. This came as a surprise to me.
So, my question, if anyone around here happens to know, is what are
the proper bulld numbers that I should be seeing, and can anyone
confirm that these build numbers are in fact those of a beta version.
One final thing, when I visit the Office Update site, after a scan it
is telling me that all my components are up to date, which has left me
skeptical about this "beta" explanation.
Thanks for any assistance.
