I have entered 350 contacts. I get a message that Outlook can't enter new
contact, "use contact file", which I am trying to use. Thanks, Dan

Please construct a question that contains enough detail to permit an answer.
Include such things as your Outlook version, the precise steps you are
using, and the precise content of error messages.

Am using Outlook 2003 (came with the computer I bought) At approx. 350
contacts entered, I receive this message "A new entry could not be added.
Please use the contacts module to create this entry." My method to enter a
new contact is: Click Tools, select Address Book, select File, select New
Entry, select New Contact, select OK. I was wondering if I have exceeded the
capacity and need to move all the contacts to a "Business Contact Manager for
Outlook" file. I have tried doing this as per the Microsoft Office Assistance
instructions which don't seem to work for me. In that I am using a free
version of Outlook 2003, do I have to purchase "Business Contact Manager for
Outlook"? Is this even the solution to my problem? Thanks, Dan

The error message already answered your question. There is no address book
in Outlook. Outlook uses Contacts Folders, not an address book. The address
book is simply a view of your Contacts Folder. You never use it to enter or
edit data. You do that in your Contacts Folder. It has been ever thus.
