I store my contacts full name as first, last and file them as last, first. When
I open the "TO" box of my e-mail it lists the contacts as first, last. How can
I switch this to sort them last, first when I call for a contact within
e-mail. Thanks.

Tools, e-mail accounts, view/modify directories/address books <next> Outlook
address book <change> - select "file as".

Go to Tools > E-mail accounts > View or change existing directories or
address books > Outlook Address Book > Change. > Set your sort order there

Make sure to close Outlook, then re-open it for the settings to take effect.
I had done the "tools; email accounts; change address book, etc" step about
20 times with no luck - I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong - until
I had that little revelation...
