When you minimze outlook it closes. Is this a feature and
has anyone else ran into this problem?

Ok....its open in the systray. The problem is my client
wants to see it minimized on the bar by the start button.
For all pratical purposes it looks closed to him. He has
to launch from the icon or the little icon on the
systray. What gives?

OK...Never mind. I found the setting on the icon in the
systray to hide when minimized. I have never seen that
setting before. I am not sure if it is something new to
2003 or not. I will have to go back and check the xp and
2000 versions to see. thanks anyway.

Right-click the icon on the systray and uncheck "Hide when Minimized."

Yes, it is new to Outlook 2003, in response to user requests.
