I upgraded Office XP to Office 2003, Outlook XP was
working fine and configured to use an Exchange server.
When launching Outlook 2003 the following message is
generated.
"A system component, RPC, required by Outlook to connect
to the e-mail server is not configured properly. For
more information, contact your system administrator.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp."

I checked the RPC service it is running without issue.
Other PC's on my network took the upgrade without issue.
Any Ideas?

Make sure the following registry keys exist.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Rpc\ClientProtocols]
"ncacn_np"="rpcrt4.dll"
"ncacn_ip_tcp"="rpcrt4.dll"
"ncadg_ip_udp"="rpcrt4.dll"
"ncacn_http"="rpcrt4.dll"

You da man! That fixed it, thanks very much.
