outlook 2003 cannot get calendar reminders to displays or sound

i've tried ALL of the help tips and have made sure that
in tools...etc., the box is checked for showing
reminders...still cannot get daily calendar reminders to
display or sound when due?
 
Since you didn't say what you tried, have you tried starting Outlook
using the /cleanreminders, /cleanfreebusy and /resetfolders switches?
