I see. But the new SRS file that Outlook generates still doesn't work.
What
should I do?
:
That is the send and receive settings configuration file and if its
corrupt
it will cause issues with the menu and with send and receives. Outlook
recreates a new SRS with default settings.

Thanks. I deleted that file (what's that file for btw?), but the
Send/Receive
file still doesn't work. It seems whenever I open the Outlook, a new
SRS
file
is generated.
thanks again if you can provide further help.
:
Find and delete the SRS file for your profile.
see
http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/filepath.htm for the file
location.

I have outlook 2003, and recently two buttons stopped working.
First,
if I
click "Send/Receive", nothing happens. Second, I cannot change
the
account
with which to send my email anymore. If I click on "account" when
composing
an email, outlook runs into problems. Any idea about what's going
on?
thanks.
