I have been using Office 2003 beta 2 sucessfully for some
time. Everything worked reasonably well including the
Business contact part of Outlook. I have now upgraded to
the full version. I can still get to and see my normal
contacts but when I click in the Business Contacts I just
get the message "The set of folders could not be opened"
and the show help tells me to reload the .pst or .ost
file. Reloading the pst has no effect and I cannot fond
a .ost file. Is there any way to reset the Business
contacts manager? I do not mind re-entering all my contact
info again.

BCM hasn't been released full version yet. I believe it won't be available
until October 21st. Once that happens, you should be able to upgrade the BCM
to the final version and access your business contacts again.

I've had the same problem David, but I used the full
potential of the Business Contact manager. From what I
gather, it looks like it hasn't been included in the full
version of Office 2003 systems, and that you can't use
the beta version with the full version, as it will not
upgrade.

I'm wondering if it has something to do with the MSDE
version, or simply that it will be released as a third
party sales and marketing tool?

Hi patricia

It is out with select for October, although the official
date is the October 21st

BCM is included in several of the Office suites, but is a separate installation because it's a COM add-in dependent on Outlook.
