I am getting the body of my message as a blank when using Outlook 2003 beta.

Is this a known bug and is there a fix?

Thanks,

Jon

There were a few bugs along those lines in the beta. Most were fixed for
the "technical refresh" of the beta (do you have that?), but I think one was
even there in that. As far as I know, all have been fixed in recent builds.

I have the technical refresh beta down and installed it. But these blank
message problems are happening after that.

Are you saying there are further downloads I can get to fix further bugs in
Outlook 2003 beta?

Thanks,

Jon

No, there are no more updates available, but we do have internal builds that
fix problems found in the technical refresh. What sort of mail account(s)
do you have, and in what format are the messages without bodies being sent?

I have standard POP mail accounts. Never had this problem before. We are
using the Outlook email composer rather than using Word 2003. And we are
using Plain Text format.

What happens is I am using a package found at www.emailtemplates.com. This
works fine. I can click on a template and it brings up a window with a
message in it.

Then, if I try to edit that message and then send the email, it loses the
editing. I just get the template message as before.

There is some vbscript in the message or in some cases <et> proprietory
tags.

Where do I get the other updates? Or are you saying they are only available
to Microsoft Employees?

Regards,

Jon

Oops!

I forgot to mention. Now I can create a reply using a template and the
entire text gets sent. However, if I try to edit a paragraph of that text
and then send, the changes just disappear. I get the original template. It
"forgets" the changes I made.

Any ideas?

Regards,

Jon
