Outlook 2003 auto delete of mail in inbox

Hi, Is there a way to automatically delete email from a mail box after 7
days. We want the mail to automatically delete. This is a shared mailbox
that at least 4 staff will have full access to so auto archive will not work.
We don't want a global rule just have 5 mailboxes that forward email to a
central mailbox. Then need the 5 mailboxes to delete items older than 7 days

Why won't autoarchive work? You can set autoarchive to delete rather than
archive...

The mailbox is never opened directly? That limits your options. The
exchange admin could set up a mailbox manager rule to delete the mail in
that box after 7 days.
