Outlook 2003 and Exchange 2000 were working fine and then
one day last week it lost connection. Other machines are
working fine. This one just won't connect. Am able to
use other users mailboxs on other workstations. Am UNABLE
to use any mailboxes with this machine, including my own.
Uninstalled and reinstalled. No help. I can ping the
mail server by name. I can get to the Internet from this
machine.

Uninstalled and reinstalled what?

Control Panel-> Mail-> button SHow Profiles...

Disabled the firewall? (for troubleshooting purposes only)

the mail server by name. It seems to be able to resolve
the mailbox name when adding an exchange client. When I
startup Outlook is says 'trying to connect' in the status
area and then switched to disconnect. The error I get
when I try to send/receive is (0x8004011D) : 'The server
is not available
